NOTW: Midnight Splatter Nails!

I haven't made a legitimate post in a reeeally long time! Lately, I've been OBSESSED with nail polish blogs and with painting my own nails (: So I think I'm going to start doing NOTWs-- Nails of the Week posts. I'll probably keep most nail polishes on for more than a week, but whatever. I'm really excited. I've always loved painting my nails, and now I've been inspired to share them with you (:

This week, I tried out splatter painting my nails. They look SO cool!

I really love how they turned out, and they were surprisingly easy to do. I used Sally Hanson Hard As Nails in Black Out for the base, then Sinful Colors in Snow Me White, Wet N' Wild in Buffy the Violet Slayer, and Charlotte Russe Two-in-One in Sky Blue for the splatter.

Here's all the equipment I used: you just need a few colors, tape, straws, and newspaper (:

Here are my nails right after I took the tape off XD Still pretty messy, but much better than they would have been without it.

I think I'm going to have to try out about a million more color combinations for this nail design, especially after I get more polish stocking-stuffers for Christmas! It's so cool; I can't stop staring at my fingers (; And it only took about half an hour, which is pretty reasonable for something this spectacular. I painted them Sunday evening, and three days later they're only barely starting to chip. Plus, I can fix some of the bigger chips by just painting little dots of the splatter colors over it.

Check it out! She's probably my favorite nail polish blogger (:
