Oh, Cristmas Tree, Oh, Christmas Tree!

I can almost hear the golden ballerina saying, “I vaunt to be next to mi amour!” as I place her gingerly by the lopsided snowman. Her smile gets one watt brighter, if possible, but I might have imagined that.
After I’ve moved Santa-bears away from Santa-cats, princesses closer to princes, and cowboys under wild animals, I stand back to admire my handiwork. The tree glistens in a rainbow of lights, but I can’t help notice the small patch of blank, uncovered green near the top.
A tiny voice inside my head starts whispering, “Over here! Here!” A little rabbit sits alone on the dining room table with wide eyes and a hopeful expression. He looks perfect in the place of honor.

My Christmas tree is up at last, and not a moment too soon! Christmas fever has been spreading through my family all day. My sister and I worked on our wish lists today, and I started on my ‘give list’. I’m so very excited, also because St. Nicholas Day is next Saturday, December 5! Or is it the 6… I don’t care! I just know it’s soon. And that is enough for me (:

Christmas is in: 28 days.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, Bloggers! Sorry this post is so late... We have so much to be thankful for this year. Here are just a few things that I’m giving thanks for:

My ABCs and 123s, because so many people don’t know theirs.
My family, because without them I wouldn’t be the person I am now.
My amazing friends, because we’ve shared so many laughs that I would be empty without.
Good books, because rainy Sundays wouldn’t be half as inspiring.
Movies, because we all need a smile.
Photography, to capture the world’s greatness without disturbing the world’s greatness.
And, of course, God, because He has given me everything I know and love.
Brownies, those Eeep! moments, the smells of wine and rain, crisp mornings, sunny nooks, a pair of blue eyes, the internet, Blogger, all my nice things, outlet malls, that one great purchase, gifts, giving and receiving, Harry Potter, traveling, soft breezes, sandy beaches, home decorating, animals and plants, the stars above, Christmas, pine tree scent, giggle-fits, the happy bits, being at ease, serene bliss, running, my health, crying, ideas, converse, my warm snuggly puppy, and much more.

Sadly, some people don’t have much to be thankful for. We can help by simply donating, participating, giving a gift, or even giving a smile. This holiday season, let’s try to make someone’s day a little brighter. You’ll be glad you did, and that warm fuzzy feeling stays for ages. Trust me.
If this Thanksgiving has made me realize anything, it’s that we should be grateful for every moment we have, because our lives are fairly short in the larger scheme of things.

I know we all have special holiday memories (: No matter if they’re good, bad or funny, they always bring a smile to our faces. Whether it’s a tear-filled smirk, or a bright cheery grin, you decide. Today didn’t have too many casualties, except mother dearest kept calling our family friend’s father Mr. Smith (name has been changed). But it was filled with good friends, family, and delicious food! I think my mom put it best when she said,

“If [your stomach] doesn’t hurt, you didn’t eat enough.”

What are your family's favorite holiday memories?

I was rubbing a half-full mug of hot cocoa on my arms to stay warm; it was literally that freezing here. Watching ‘House Hunters International’ while blogging in my gangster pants with my old glittery “Save Fashion, Wear Juicy” shirt on was working wonders for my self esteem. Ha-ha. Friday nights at my house are a real treat. But I was saved soon; my favorite cousins from the land of Cleve arrived!!
we saw New Moon, which was better than the first one, and every time Jacob black came on, after he cut his hair of course, i just wanted to pet his gorgeous face. and his muscles XD. Edward looked really gross when he was in Italy and was about to step into the sunlight. *shudders*
it was funny though because we were all wearing the exact same Ugg boots in different colors and people kept staring at our feet! it was awesome. il upload pictures once my cousin puts them on facebook.

oh, and i couldn't do teen girls daybook amidst all the excitement, so I'll do it today(:

Computer-Doodles (made with Paint)

hola frijoles pequenas.

Hello little beans.
Oprah's ending her talk show?!

*ehem...* im getting a really good start to my novel. i recently found these really great methods to developing novel plots. it has really helped me to understand my novel better and start my first bits.
it is basically a 3-step process:
1. Write a one sentence summary of your novel.
2. Expand the sentence into a paragraph.
3. Expand the paragraphy into an essay-type deal. Roughly five paragraphs works.

MY steps (discluding step 3 for obvious reasons [it would be too long;])
1. An abandoned elf is lost in the world of the Fey after living with humans all her life.
2. Plum Dalton lived with humans all her life. Suddenly, when she is fifteen years old, she is transported to the world of the Fey, discovering that she is truly an elf. After meeting her real family and learning about her past, she realizes that she is not ready for life with fairies, centaurs, and nymphs, and must get "home." With the help of her best friend, she finds the wanderer owning the powder needed to change realms. In the end, she lives in both worlds equally and gains a sense of true belonging.

it is a work-in-progress but its getting there.
novel help care of http://advancedfictionwriting.com/art/snowflake.php <-- check it out! in other news, today i witnessed a boy getting dragged BY THE HEAD into a dark hallway. it sounds horrible, but it was the funniest thing! neither kid was in pain; it was all fun. but all i saw was two hands holding this kid's head and dragging him on the floor, with his legs slowly sliding in and mild writhing with shouts of horror. Ha-ha. i know, im terrible. wow this post is long...

Super Funny Tag (:

First, list twelve characters from any fandom, then answer the questions below
1. Remy
2. Draco Malfoy
3. Plum (my character)
4. Duke (GI Joe)
5. Jared Grace
6. James Bond
7. Joe/Josephine (some like it hot)
8. Professor Layton
9. Martha Boyle
10. Torak
11. Cinderella
12. Forest Gump

1. Who would make a better collage prof, 6 or 11?
James Bond or Cinderella? tough. probably Bond.

2. Do you think #2 is hot?
yes, he's my husband! (LOL)

3. 12 sends 8 out on a mission. What is it? Does it succeed?
Forest tells Professor Layton to write down Forest's life story (its quite interesting) and of course he succeeds because Hershel can do anything!

4. What is or what would be 9's favorite book?
Hmm... Sand Dollar Summer

5. Would it make more since for 2 to swear fealty to 6, or the other way around?
Draco would swear to Bond!

6. For some reason, 5 is looking for a roommate. Should (s)he room with 9 or 10?
Hmm, he would probably like Martha and would think Torak was wierd. so.. Martha?

7. 2, 7 and 12 are going out to dinner. Where do they go and what do they discuss?
Draco, Joe, and Forest?! never. Joe's too classy for that, and Draco's too mean. they'd probably go to Bubba Gump's, though.

8. 3 challenges 10 to a duel, who wins?
Torak! he has so much hunting skill, and Plum is an average teen elf. ?

9. If 1 stole 8's most precious possession, how would (s)he get it back?
Remy would take Layton's top hat, and Layton would be a gentleman and ask for it back politely.

10. Suggest a story title in which 7 and 12 both attain what they desire.
Shrimp Girl

11. What kind of plot device would you have to use if you wanted 1 and 4 to work together?
someone is using a device that spoils all the food in the world, and combat and culinary skills are the only way to stop him.

12. If 7 visited you for the weekend, how would it go?
He would play his saxophone for me and i would swoon over his face. XD

13. If you could command 3 to perform any service or task for you, what would it be?
i dont know, i guess to be my bff cuz she's a really cool person.

14. Does anyone on your friends list write or draw 11?
doubtful.

15. If 2 had to choose sides between 4 and 5, what side would (s)he choose?
Duke, because Duke is older and stronger than Jared. But Jared is mean...

16. What might 10 shout out while charging into battle?
"This is for Fa!!" i guess...

17. If you had to choose a song to best describe 8, what would it be?
"Fly With Me" cuz hes a gentleman.

18. 1, 6 and 12 are having a dim sum at a Chinese Restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets it?
James would use his mad ninja-like skills or silver pistol to get the pancake. but Remy would appreciate its culinary value more.

19. What might be a good pick up line for 2 to use on 10?
Draco and Torak... THAT would never happen. my hubby doesn't roll that way (no discrimination)

20. What would 5 most likely be arrested for?
having an anger-management porblem and beating some kid to bits.

21. What is 6's secret?
he's secretly a double-agent for Blofeld. Scandalous!

22. If 11 and 9 were racing to a destination, who would get there first?
Martha. Cindy's skirt would be too huge and her heels too difficult to run in

23. If you had to walk home through a bad neighborhood late at night, who would you feel more comfortable walking with, 7 or 8?
hmm, tough. Layton is uber brave, but Joe's got that big sax case, and hes charming..... (stares into space dreamily)
whoops, lost my train of thought. what was the question?

24. 1 and 9 reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by 4's sinister secret organization. 11 volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that s/he is actually a spy for 4. Meanwhile, 4 has kidnapped 12 in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wiseadvice of 5, they seek out 3, who gives them what they need to complete their quest. What title would you give this fic?
"Plum Confusion". Cinderella, a spy?! NO!

I tag:
anyone who hasnt done this yet!!

I'm Salivating at the Thought of It

When I got home from school, I devised the greatest, sweetest, richest, chocolate-iest dessert snack of all time (no, not desert snack. silly)! All you need is 4 simple ingredients: Oreos, Reddi-Whip, Hershey's Chocolate Syrup, and Nestle Chocolate Chips. Any brands will do, though. I think you know where this is going...

First, you get out as many Oreos as you want to make (2 for each person suits me), and set them decoratively on a plate. Next, you take your Reddi-Whip, shake it up, and put a nice perfect swirl on top of each Oreo. Then put intricate chocolate syrup stripes on your whipped Oreos. Put a few chocolate chips onto the confection and Voila`! You've got Death On a Platter! (I named it this because my chihuahua was eyeing it devilishly, and chocolate kills doggies)

I completely recommend this delish treat. EAT IT. Or your life will be unfulfilled.

Nameless Book

soo... now i'm writing a book about a murder, and this detective has 5 woman suspects, and they are all very different but all have ties to the victim, and a motive. the suspects are a red-haired fotune-teller named Rae Inglewood, a rich blonde shopaholic named Kat Monroe, a black-haired african-american performer named Sugar Dennings, a dark-brunette waitress named Jenna Adele, and an african-american psychologist named Dr. Rachel Fieldings. thats as far as i've gotten...

My Tuesday Night

I am sitting on the floor of my room with a shower cap on and a concoction of prescription shampoos fermenting on my head. Don't worry, it's just a scalp infection. Scalp infection?! Apparently i'm alergic to comercially sold hairspray-paint. Figures. WHY AM I CURSED?! I finally got up the courage to come blog; before i wasnt showing my face out of my room, but my laptop was downstairs. So, I darted. Only Cailin saw me, and I supose when someone's seen you at your worst, you don't have to put up such a mask with them. AHH the shampoo dripped on my shoulder! ColdColdCold.
I wonder if my scalp's done marinating. Where's my mom? It's been half an hour since i put on this five-ten minute hair doom. Goodbye, blog. I'm taking a shower.
